Fresh out of the South, based in Mckinney, Texas, KellyMarie is an emerging artist to watch. Her music falls under indie-pop genres featuring breezy melodies and hypnotic guitar riffs that highlight KellyMarie’s unique vocal style. Musical influences include Ingrid Michaelson as well as the oldies music she listened to with her dad growing up - Fleetwood Mac, The Beach Boys and The Beatles. Her songwriting is not the only thing impacted by her love for retro music, KellyMarie’s style also reflects this vintage charm.

Much of her childhood was spent dreaming of being a singer, however, she kept her dreams within her own little world. It was not until the end of college that her family and friends even knew that she could sing. Through her music, KellyMarie aspires to encourage other shy dreamers as well as to provide upbeat, positive messages amidst whimsical, playful tunes.

Following college, KellyMarie moved to El Paso and began to perform her original songs at local coffee shops and bars. The joy that followed this initial step of bravery surpassed any doubt or fear that lingered. It was during this season that she would go on to write the songs that became her debut EP, On A Whim (2018). 

After spending time focusing on family, KellyMarie’s passion for songwriting was reignited during the 2020 lockdown. While she was watching the household staple The Office, she was hit with inspiration to take her love for the show and create an album. 

KellyMarie is delighted to deliver her debut album. IT IS MY ALBUM. - a collection of love songs inspired by The Office. IT IS MY ALBUM. showcases KellyMarie’s dreamy voice and her uniquely creative ability to compose lyrical and catchy melodies.

In her free time, KellyMarie enjoys spending time in nature gardening and watching for birds and butterflies. She is also found frequenting her favorite thrift shops and antique stores. She loves going to the movies and on escape room dates with her husband. Motherhood is a precious job that KellyMarie cherishes and she loves learning new things about her babies every day. Lastly, a good day or bad day is always a reason to enjoy an an iced chai latte.
